What sample size can be used with sepsitest and microdx?

Which sample sizes can be used?

Clinical Sample Size & Volume
For SepsiTest™-UMD and Micro-Dx™:

  1. Fluid samples: 1 ml. We recommend using as much sample volume as possible. For samples with smaller volumes, a buffer for volume adjustment to 1 ml is included in the kits.
  2. Tissue samples: approximately 0.5x0.5x0.5 cm.

  1. Additional for SepsiTest™-UMD: larger volumes of up to 10 ml can be used with the Add-On10 kit.

  1. For Micro-Dx™ no larger volume of the samples is possible due to the limitations of the necessary consumables for the SelectNA™plus instrument.
