Which consumable can I use?

What kind of consumables are to be used?

  1. DNA-free pipette tips with filters are obligated to avoid carryover contamination during DNA preparation.
  2. Also, DNA-free 1.5 and 2.0 ml polypropylene tubes, as long as not supplied with MolYsis™ kits, should be used.
  3. Many manufacturers of plastic consumables guarantee the absence of human DNA. However, only a few suppliers test for the absence of microbial DNA. We have made a good experience using Biosphere® plus pipette tips and plastic vials (Sarstedt, Germany).
  4. For the automation, the SelectNA™plus instrument, the DNA-free “Pipette tips SelectNA™plus(Molzym order no. D-925-024/048/096) must be used.
