How to process tissue

How to process tissue?

Tissue Pre-treatment

Tissue is pre-treated with a 10-minute enzymatic approach followed by the normal protocol of host DNA depletion for SepsiTest™-UMD or placed into the SelectNA™plus instrument with Micro-Dx™.
Other tissue treatments like bead beating are not validated nor covered in the IVD workflow and possible disruption of the microbial cells or introduction of contaminations needs to be considered here.

Please note:
For SepsiTest™-UMD and Micro-Dx™ the microbial cells need to be intact!

Please refer to “What are the sample requirements?” for more details.
