How many sequencing reactions needed

How many sequencing reactions are needed per sample?

Sequencing
  1. For every sample with a positive 16S PCR, there are two sequencing reactions based on two sequencing primers, SeqGN16 and SeqGP16. This allows the identification of up to two pathogens, mainly separated into Gram-negative and Gram-positive pathogens. But both sequencing primers show exceptions, a few Gram-negative species will be detected by the SeqGP16, and some Gram-positive species will be detected by the SeqGN16. The exceptions of the sequencing primers are listed here.
  1. For every sample with a positive 18S PCR, SeqYeast18 is used for sequencing.
